Our friends have grown and blossomed over the past year.
We see their growth in their self expression when they build and create with a variety of blocks and through their art.
Their knowledge of their English and Hebrew alphabets has greatly increased.
Our friends have developed their concentration which aids in the refinement of their writing skills.
The growth in their mathematical reasoning is something we witness daily.  Currently we see this most often at morning group when the helper will count the number of friends who will need Torah's before gathering and passing them out to the group.  This is a progressive step from sharing one Torah for one child, until everyone has a Torah.
Activities in the classroom continue to entice them and help reinforce their numeral and counting knowledge.

Coordination and gross motor control has been impressive to watch on the playground.
The children have taken concepts from our science explorations and applied their artistic perspectives to better comprehend concepts.
This week we explored primary colors and the multiple of colors they can create.

We have seen our friends stepping into leadership roles. This is easily witnessed by the plentiful Mitzvah Orchard, and all the many mitzvahs that occur during our school day.

The children are growing and developing a mindset that everyone can be leaders when we choose to do mitzvahs and help others.
