This week we read a few books to inspire us and remind us of our capabilities.
Morah Katie: What did the young girl learn in The DOT?
Lochlan: She learned she could make a dot.
Ozzie: She made so many.
Eli: She said she couldn't. BUT she can do it.
Clive: She didn't give up.
Emily: She didn't think she could.
Makayah: Think, she didn't think she could but she really could.
Eli: She tried and she could.
Evan: It was when she tried that she realized she could do it.
Lochlan: She made so many dots.
Evan: One big too.

Morah Katie: What did Wemberly learn in Wemberly Worried?
Lochlan: She didn't 't have to worry.
Morah Katie: What helped her learn that?
Makayah: She made friend. That friend had stripes too and a doll too.
Morah Katie: Wemberly saw that someone else was like her, they had stuff in common. She wasn't alone.

Morah Katie: What happened in The Good Day?
Emily: The dog kept trying and then turned his bad day into a good happy day.
Clive: The squirrel lost his nut but then found an even bigger better nut!
Evan: Let's have a good day.
Morah Katie: It makes me wonder what you have learned to do. What can you do now that you couldn't do in back in September- so long ago?
Evan: I couldn't write my name and now I can.
Lochlan: I couldn't ice skate and I'm getting better.
Clive: I couldn't draw my "e's" properly and now I can.
Emily: I can clean up my room all by myself AND I sleep in my bed the whole night.
Annabel: I can make lots of art now.
Makayah: I can write my name.
Evie waits to eat her snack until after the blessing.
