We will be celebrating the holiday of Shavuot in just a few days.

Earlier this week we went to the synagogue to see a real Torah.

Morah Tzivie: What does the Torah teach us?

Levi: To be nice

Daniel: To help people

Dena: To be friendly

Morah Tzivie: We are going to make our very own Torah's using the mitzvah notes from our pear tree, and we have pictures we can color of mitzvah's to put in our Torah's also.

The children excitedly began creating their Torah's.

In addition to our Torah making,

we played a Shavuot matching game

explored balance

experimented with color mixing


and simply had fun!
