A happy holiday is on its way

There have been some changes in the classroom.
We are so excited to find out why.
We have been listening to Morah Tzivie share an exciting and interesting story.
Morah Tzivie: What is the name of the holiday?
Moshe: Purim!
Morah Tzivie: The Jewish people who lived in Shushan (the city where the Purim story happened) had a leader, does anyone remember his name?
Lakshmi: Rabbi Mordechai.
Morah Tzivie: He was kind and caring. He was a teacher for the Jewish people. What do you think was in his home?
Moshe: Candles.
Carson: Books.
Miles: Torahs.
Morah Tzivie: Somebody else lived in Rabbi Mordechai's home.
Moshe: Esther.
Morah Tzivie: Yes, Esther was kind, and helpful.
Matan: This guy is Haman, I know because he has angry eyebrows and Haman was always angry.
Morah Katie: Tell me more about how I know he is not Rabbi Mordechai.
Matan: Haman is just mean. He is angry.
Lochlan: He is mean all the time.
Morah Katie: Tell me about Rabbi Mordechai.
Moshe: Nice.
Maya: Leads the Jewish people away from Haman.
Morah Katie: Tell me more about Esther.
Colette: She is nice.
Moshe: Kind.
Miles: She saves the Jewish people.
Maia: She helps to keep the Jewish people safe.
Fortunately, the morah's mistook many of our Gan friends for Mordechai and Esther and NOT Haman.
